The Weekend in Black and White: Winding Tracks

I've always been fascinated by train tracks but am usually not in a good spot to photograph them. I managed some quick shots this week, although I wasn't entirely satisfied with what I got.

I, too, love the look of train tracks and the sense of wonder and adventure a train or hearing its whistle blow brings as it travels around the bend. Sometimes color can take away from an image. Your photo in black and white captures the imagination beautifully. Strangely enough my current post also includes a track. :)

I agree with Dragonstar, I like the curve and the two pieces of wood. Railroads are very interesting!

You captured the curve and overall feel of these tracks beautifully. I love shooting them, but it takes special light to have them come out at nicely as this. Excellent photography.

I think it's beautiful. Love the point of view and the way the tracks go. My eyes follow it back and forth :)
