Monochrome Monday: More of the fixer upper

I decided to show you more of the house which I'd love to fix up (in my dreams), and which I showed the front porch detail on for last weeks Monochrome shot. I took these shots at the end of the summer of 2008 when the leaves were still on the trees.

I like the refection of the trees in the window of the first photo.

I noted the reflection too, very delicate. I could wander around here all day with the camera. So many angles.

This house looks vaguely familiar... I'm thinking Lynn or Lead Mine road maybe? Needs a lot of work, but it seems viable enough.

So you are planning to fix it up? Big job but a lovely old house.

It is a very fine looking place but I imagine there has to be a lot of wood to replace in these older ones. It is a style of building totallt foreign in our part of the world.

I love the detail on the gable and the porch is to die for. I can understand why you daydream about this house. ;-)
